The TRIP approach to Internationalisation at Home in Higher Education has inclusion at its heart. It further reflects a commitment to Equity and Diversity as core European Commission values and seeks to advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), in particular, UN SDG 4 which speaks to 'ensuring equitable access to quality education' (United Nations 1997). Our approach provides professional development training for academics and support staff to enable them to develop and implement inclusive pedagogies such as Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and to expand this approach to include culturally responsive teaching. It also seeks to harness the growing cultural diversity on our campuses for intercultural learning for students, academics and support staff alike and to tailor our services to ensure they address the diverse needs of the campus community.

It will also feature contributions from our Global South partner universities in which they offer insights into their own internationalisation at home experiences and challenges and how their academics, professional support staff and students have engaged with the TRIP outputs.
